With little time in Berlin we made the most of it by hitting the highlights of the city including the iconic and aged Brandenburg Gate, an 18th-century neoclassical monument in Berlin, built on the orders of Prussian king Frederick William II after the successful restoration of order during the early Batavian Revolution. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in November of 1989 the wall quickly became a symbol of German unity.
